RIS students attending International Students Summer Camp Beijing 2017 sponsored by the Confucius Institute.A glimpse from their recent visit to Shenshi Family Garden in the city of Shaoxing. Also visiting Lu Xun’s Native Place in the city of Shaoxing. Lu Xun was the famous poet of Shaoxing.
International Students Summer Camp Beijing 2017 is taking place from 17th July to 29th July in Beijing. . A group of students including Faizan,Sarah Taj, Ayesha Dogar, Muhammad Uzair, from Roots International Schools are representing Pakistan and Roots International Schools at the camp.
Yesterday, RIS students visited China National Tea Museum in the amazing city of Hangzhou .China is the birthplace of tea with the longest history of tea culture.The China National Tea Museum was opened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in 1991. It is located in Longjing (Dragon Well) Village, west of charming West Lake.This museum is the only one in the country with the tea theme. It has no external walls but is enclosed by vegetation giving the unique impression that the halls and the tea plants inside depend upon each other.
