Introduction to New HSK (HANYU SHUIPING KAOSHI)
HSK stands for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, or Chinese Proficiency Test. It tests your ability to use and understand Mandarin Chinese.
1. Exam structure
The new HSK is a standard international Chinese language ability test, it test the communication abilities of people in which Chinese aren't their first language, and it test their language abilities in life, study and work. The new HSK divided into writing exam and oral exam, they are both independent exam. The writing exam contain HSK(LEVEL 1), HSK(LEVEL 2),HSK(LEVEL 3),HSK(LEVEL 4),HSK(LEVEL 5) and HSK(LEVEL 6);the oral exam include HSK(Basic), HSK(Elementary-intermediate) and HSK(Advanced), the test is carry out by recording.

4. Result report
After three weeks of the exam, examinees will be given a new HSK result report provided by Hanban.
