Muslims throughout the world celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) as Birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) with fervor and religious enthusiasm. All arrangements are firmed up for celebrating Eid Milad-un -Nabi befittingly. Different Mosques are adorned and illuminations are on for one week or month. Green colored pennants are seen during the processions of Milad-un-Nabi, on mosques and shrines. Green is a color related with the Prophet as being one of his special colors. It is said that the Holy Prophet select a green colored flag to signify the Islamic republic in his life. Oil lamps and Candles (Chiragan) are lit on the occasion of twelfth Rabi-ul-Awwal to welcome the Holy Prophet’s arrival and to celebrate his birth.Roots International Schools promotes Islamic values in the schools.
