Roots international schools always look for providing multi challenging ground to its students for academic and professional growth. RIS accomplishing the task well by offering German language programme. Goethe institute sponsored this Youth camp with the cooperation of Roots German language club, Roots German language club intends to give students exposure and an easy access to learn German language and cultural diversities. The camp was attended by number of countries' representatives round the globe.
Taimoor Tariq and Nasir Zaman, two students as envoys form Roots Interntional Schools 82A Campus represented Pakistan on global forum in Goslar Germany via participation in German language youth camp June 2013. This was the camp that lasts for three weeks, during this trip they were taken to visit two major cities, Gottingen and Hanover Germany where theyparticipated in number of activities. They also enjoyed Forest walk, city tour, trip to museum and churches and hiking. They played various games like bowling, soccer, mini golf and volleyBall. They had tournaments of bowling, snooker and table tennis, Rootsian participated in all tournaments and won the table tennis tournament and bowling championship. Goethe team organized a conference and a seminar, cultural night programme, get together and a farewell party accompanied with some tours to Audi, Porch and Lamborghini show room and to Volkswagen factory. Rootsian mesmerized the audience with their performance on cultural night programme. This trip was exceptionally amazing and fruitful for students in terms of academic improvement and learning. Their representation on such a broad spectrum embellished their language and cultural competencies.
