The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. Our entire school joined in on the largest education event in history: The Hour of Code. During Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 9-15), every one of our students are amongst over 2 million worldwide spending one hour learning the basics. We are celebrating hour of code in RISC-Nationwide campuses during whole Computer Science Education Week from 9th December till 15th December 2019. To continue bringing programming activities to the students, Roots International Schools has made Hour of Code mandatory in all schools nationwide. The Hour of Code is a campaign to prove that regardless of age, race or gender, anyone can learn how to not just consume, but build the technologies of the future.
UK Campus Drive 2020
Roots international schools & Colleges hosted the UK Campus Drive 2020 , in which top UK universities along with Cambridge Education Group and British Council IELTS team attended the event. The representatives shared the information about their institutions, programs offered, admission processes/criteria and scholarship programs with the prospective students. The college fair was followed by an acknowledgment ceremony where CEO Roots International Schools, Sir Walid Mushtaq, presented shields to the university representatives as gesture of goodwill. Macquarie University,Australia Outreach Sessions in RISC Campuses
Australia is one of the up and coming education destinations that is getting popular by the day. Only 12km form Sydney harbor Bridge, MacQuarie Univerity is not only popular for its sought after academic programs, but also the beautiful, picturesque campus, as well.
On 20th November, 2018 Representative Rumla from MacQuarie University visited Roots International schools, Richmond Campus. The representative discussed about their programs, admission and scholarship criteria and also industry job prospects for aspiring students.
Macquarie offers a wide range of academic programs, many of which are among the top ones in the world. Due to quality of students and the great turn-out form Pakistan in the previous years, Macquarie has decided to offer a guaranteed scholarship of $10,000 AUD to Pakistani students for 2019 intake.
Middle East Technical University Outreach Sessions in RISC Campuses
Every year our global partners visit our campuses to form closer relationships with our students through face to face interactions. This makes for the perfect opportunity for international admission advisers to give a profound insight about their schools/universities and programs offered that may not easily be acquired through other channels.
International Representative from Middle East Technical University, North Cyprus Campus (METU NCC) visited Roots International Schools Richmond campuses. The opportunity was very well received by students.
Students of Roots international Schools have been able to acquire up to 100% scholarships at METU Ankara as well as METU NCC. The two institutes have shared many years of tasteful relations and aspire to continue so.
Minerva Schools at KGI Outreach Sessions in RISC Campuses

With the ever changing and innovative college industry, there are up and coming exciting and innovative schools entering the industry, giving students a chance to not only study inside the classroom but to have an equal opportunity to learn outside too. One such university is Minerva schools at Keck Graduate Institute. On October 1st 2018, our partners from Minerva Schools at KGI visited Roots International Schools and explained their school’s education system, environment and the countless study, work, travel and actual industry job opportunities. Roots has enjoyed years of great partner-ship with Minerva Schools and we look forward to strengthen this relationship with more our student being accepted at their prestigious programs.
Asia Pacific University Outreach Sessions in RISC Campuses
The rep discussed APU’s admission process, national and international ratings, as well as the amenities and resources available at their campus. Malaysian visa process was also elaborated to students in detail. Students of IG/A -Levels and FSC (I/II) attended the session.
University of Alberta Outreach Sessions in RISC Campuses
Representative Helen Khan and Asif elaborated about their institute’s admission criteria and process, on campus, off campus living options and visa application procedure were touched upon. A special visa application webinar was arranged for RIS students in the month of January.
